In tantra yoga, this is the descending in-breath (prana-vayu) from third-eye to the soft palate, relates with midday and the element is fire. In the hero’s journey, we are taking inspired action, feeling tension and resistance in group efforts, wanting to differentiate. Feeling strong and empowered to cross initiation threshold. Blazing new trails which could become new systems for society. First quarter Moon relates with follicular and proliferation hormones, building up of estrogen, uterine walls thickening, eggs maturing. This phase of lunar cycle can be powerful and exciting. Use it for courtship, dates night, seduction, and rituals that focus on building and growing. Use foods that nurture and support. • Create sacred space by calling in the sacred grounding of Virgo and calling on your spirit guides and ancestors to support you.
  • Consecrate your time and space dedicated to chilling out.
  • Set yourself up in a comfort position where you can lounge and enjoy your favorite beverage.
  • Write in your journal about your dreams,  hopes, wishes and goals.  Now write about you accomplishments reflecting on every you have currently with gratitude.  Do your best to witness when your inner critic arises and realize this voice is not truth.  Let your heart and head work in harmony.
  • Practice a meditation with emphasis on relaxation.  Allow yourself to feel soothed by the sound of your own breath nourishing your sacred body.

Conclude in gratitude.

Dreams:

Dreaming is a direct and uncensored reflection of our unconscious, not yet revealed mind. The ego-identity is intimated by dream reality, especially when you become lucid. Lucidity happens when you become aware of non-duality. You loose your sense of separation from all that you are experiencing and the ego’s whole job is to keep you believing in separation. Ancient people of Tibet and Egypt have recorded their views of death, after-life, and dream practices as tool for learning how to pass between life/death with whole consciousness. Lucid dreaming is an opportunity to practice living and dying consciously. Facing our shadow-self (nightmares) and learning how to integrate it’s medicine is part of this whole-ing process.

While dreaming can be really fun-filled, trippy, sex with your most desired people adventure, it is also a training ground for realization, awakening, receiving teachings and learning to awaken to your full potential.
