Amidst a potent eclipse season in Libra and Aries, we are called to honor the dance of renewal and getting on an evolutionary appropriate trajectory, especially within our relationships.

On March 25th, 2024, the Lunar Eclipse in Libra, on the South Node, signals a time for releasing, cleansing, and regenerating. Libra: We.

On April 8th, 2024, the North Node Solar Eclipse in Aries encourages us to trailblaze. Independently stepping onto a new path with independence, fitness, and confidence. Aries: Me.

By honoring both release of the past with Libra and initiation of the new with Aries, we navigate cosmic currents with courage and assurance, fostering profound growth and renewal in our relationships and personal journey.

In this ritual, we connect with the fiery energy of Aries to boldly assert boundaries and pursue paths aligned with our authentic selves. As we step into the transformative fire, we shed old patterns, making space for vibrant connections, relationships that match our new state of consciousness and direction in life.

Libra, symbolizing balance and partnerships, takes center stage during the March eclipse. However, with the Moon near the South Node, it’s a time to confront the past. It’s an opportunity to purify, cleanse, release, and sometimes, resurrect treasures from the past—including relationships and relational patterns that have run their course. Grief may come up and is a healthy part of releasing relational patterns. Grief is a gravitational pull that hollows us out, deepens us. Clearing space to be filled with new light, new relationships with people, places and things.

Let’s craft a ritual together, one that honors the sacred cycles of the cosmos and empowers us to let go with grace. In this ritual, we connect with the fiery energy of Aries to boldly assert boundaries and pursue paths aligned with our authentic selves. As we step into the transformative fire, we shed old patterns, making space for vibrant connections, relationships that match our new state of consciousness and direction in life.

Rituals give shape and form to emotional processes. They are a bridge between physical and non-physical reality where we can communicate, and effect change in our spiritual landscape. A good ritual has 3 main parts. 1) Setting sacred space and speaking the intentions of what you’re gathering attention for. 2) Doing the action of your intention, doing what you came to do. 3) Giving thanks and closing sacred space.

  1. Setting Sacred Space: Create a cozy, safe space to explore your emotions. Light candles, burn incense, and add touches of beauty like flowers or crystals to enhance the ambiance. Call in your spirit guides, angels, ancestors, and all forces of nature who lovingly support you. Make an offering to them, whether elaborate or simple. Your voice acknowledging their presence is a lot.
  2. Reflection and Release: Reflect on past and present relationships. Journal about lessons learned, mistakes made, regrets, and things you would like to never repeat. Allow yourself to fully honor your experiences.
  3. Writing Letters: Write letters to people, personal relational patterns, or partnerships you’re ready to release, expressing gratitude for lessons learned. Don’t sugar coat anything. Write details about what you want to cancel and quit in relational life. Go slow with this. Allow your feelings space to be seen and felt.
  4. Ritual of Release: Let go of the letters, whether by burning, burying, or tearing them up, putting them in water, feeling the release in your entire body. Be mindful of eco-friendly supplies where nature is included in your ritual.
  5. Integration and Gratitude: Ground yourself with bare feet on Earth, expressing gratitude to the invisible forces that constantly support you.
  6. Closing Ceremony: Finish with a closing ceremony—a prayer, song, music, some heartfelt words, or dance—offering gratitude to the universe and reinforcing equanimity in all of your relationships. Close sacred space.
  7. Integration and Reflection: Be gentle with yourself in the following days, observing and reflecting on shifts and trusting your guidance.

There you have it—a ritual for releasing relationships during the South Node Lunar Eclipse in Libra. May it bring healing, liberation, and a deeper connection to the core of your essence and the Source of Creation, birthing a next-level of maturity in love.
