Lalita day 11: Vijaya: Nitya of Victory

Om Vijayayai Namaha

Sun: 12 Gemini
Moon: 0 Scorpio, 138 degrees from Sun, Waxing Gibbous Moon
Inner Moon: transition between proliferation and ovulation

Moon Vibes:

The lover in ecstatic union with the beloved and the creator in sync with their audience. This phase relates to Beltane, spring equinox. Heightened senses, pleasure, amusement. In tantra yoga, this is the descending in-breath from soft palette to the throat, represents the first quarter of daylight and the element is water. In the hero’s journey, this is where we are facing fears, doubts, and uncertainties. We get an opportunity to show what we know through the trails and tests that are occurring now. In the menstrual cycle, waxing gibbous is a transition phase between the building up of the uterine nest and the high of ovulation. Use warm comfort foods and root vegetables.

Moon in Scorpio:

Moon in energy feeling Scorpio. Digging down deep to the roots of the matter. Pulling them up, exposing them to Sunlight. Not concerned with how this makes anyone feel. Revelation feels … buzzing with all the emotions. Moon opposite Uranus all day. Unpredictable. Earth quaking, radical paradigm shifting around our shared dream, overall mood, DNA/ancient wisdom in blood, where reality is reflected #Moon

Moon and Satrun in challenging 90°angle. Moon in Scorpio says FEEL THIS. Respect and strengthen your energy body’s wisdom. Saturn in Aquarius says TECHNOLOGY and CONTROL are the only answer. Our work today is making space within our bodies for both of these to exist and thrive in their wholeness. 90°angles are conflicting. Conflict is looking for acceptance into the whole.

Astrology info to consider:

Mercury and Chiron in 90°challenging angle. Can you speak and express from your wounds in productive ways? You don’t have to. Some wounds aren’t meant to fully heal but rather be the medicine you share. Through sharing, even if it’s messy, your wound becomes a potent superpower. Today, move this energy on paper, in a video you create, through body movement, art. When you’re ready to speak up, please do.

Sun/Venus rx in Gemini, 90° challenging angle with Mars. Big thought patterns #Gemini creativity, illumination of our repressed longing for connection needs integration with the desire for universal love and compassion.

Ritual:

Tonight and tomorrow while the Moon vibes in the depths of Scorpio we will practice dissolution ritual and feel our way through grief.   We are building towards the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on Friday and energy is intense, take plenty of time to rest, seek relaxation and pleasure in your body.  Allowing old ways to die, throwing our old stuff in the compost, waiting and trusting in the decomposition process.

  • Create sacred space in an area where you will be comfortable laying down, call in the powerful and transformational energy of Scorpio, call on your spirit guides to support you here.
  • Decompress in your journal, stream of consciousness writing, get all the shit out of your head and onto paper, write with feeling(do not hold anything back, dig deep). You are ultimately going to tear these pages out of your journal and burn them, so go ahead and write that thing that you would never want anyone else to read, get it out and dissolve it to ashes.
  • Now lay down comfortably and feel the support beneath your body. Feel the weight of your body surrendering into the support beneath you. Imagine your body dissolving blissfully as you surrender into stillness and the vast darkness behind closed eyes.
  • Feel your breath and notice your exhale with heightened attention, an increased commitment to the breath of releasing, expiring and letting go.
  • Practice following the breath in this way, receiving the gift of your inhale and surrendering this gift on your exhale.  Notice the emptiness and stillness at the bottom of your exhale, get to know this void.  Feel this emptiness with no expectations for what will come next. Truly surrender your exhale.
  • Practice this for a while, noticing all that arises. All that arises let it be, as it is; resistance or concern, grief or joy, boredom or story. Notice it, accept it, and then return to your breath.
  • When you feel complete return to your journal, gather a candle and a pot of water for your dissolution ritual(you may want to move outside now).
  • Tear out of your journal the pages you were decompressing on before.  Take another moment to add anything else to the paper you will burn.  What are you watching dissolve in your life?
  • Tear the paper in to pieces and feed them to the fire of your lit candle (use the pot of water to discard of the paper if you are in a dry area).  With each piece of paper burned, see the smoke rising to the moonlight and trust your intentions are fully supported.

Conclude in Gratitude.
