Inner Moon: transition between ovulation and luteal phase

Moon Vibes:

The Shaman doing the deep inner work of acceptance and surrender. We sense into and through the chaos and crave liberation for self and others. We attune to the mysteries of life cycles, death and rebirth. We lose our sense of self-importance. This phase relates with Lammas. In tantra yoga, this starts surychara, ascending course of the Sun with the out-breath moving upward from heart to throat. Relates with first quarter of the day (morning) and the element is water. In the hero’s journey, this is the return journey. We are feeling gratitude for survival and ready to integrate the gifts from the journey. In the menstrual cycle, this is transition between the high of ovulation and the hormonal shifts of luteal phase.

Moon in energy oriented Scorpio this morning. Moving into philosophically adventurous Sagittarius by evening, around 6. By 11 pm, Moon will be in resonate polarity with Venus/Vesta. Allow yourself to have a felt experience of what these forces are sharing with you. We inform the cosmos as much as we are informed by the cosmos. It’s a relationship.

Liver chi: Feeling aggravated or angry? Dandelion greens or any bitter greens in a salad are perfect Moon nourishment for today. If it’s cold and rainy where you live, cook the greens.

Paying Attention to Truth; Expanding your Awareness and Connecting with Wisdom and Purpose

Sit down and feel the ground beneath you, close your eyes and feel the spacious sky above you, call in sacred space here.  We will practice expanding our awareness from body center to the cosmic whole.

  • Begin feeling your body outline allowing all awareness to arrive within
  • Perceive the room your are in embracing the elements of this room with your awareness, then expand to perceive the whole building including anyone else who is present in this building with you
  • Expand your awareness to perceive your entire community, take time here to be present with the collective feeling of your community
  • Expand your awareness again this time to perceive the whole planet and all beings and elements here, feeling your self firmly seated and grounded on this planet, connect with your heart center and seek to connect with a message of purpose, even asking to the earth from your heart “how can I help?”  opening to receiving guidance
  • Expand your awareness to perceive the whole universe, now seeing earth as a blue dot and a part of the whole swirling cosmos, in this vast expansive awareness open to receiving wisdom

Reflect in your journal and conclude in gratitude.
