day 2: Nityaklinna: Nitya of Wetness
Om Nityaklinnayai Namaha
Sun: 7 Pisces
Moon: 11 Aries, 34 degrees from Sun, New Moon
Inner Moon: transition between bleeding and follicular/proliferation
Moon Vibes:
Individuality. Going extreme, leaping out, feeling a strong desire for manifesting those new Moon intentions. Feeling an extreme sense of hunger for our mission and divine guidance. Developing awareness of spiritual and sexual identity. This phase relates with Imbolc/Candlemas. In tantra yoga, this is somachara, descending course of Moon, in-breath (prana-vayu) from crown to the third-eye, relates with last quarter of daylight and the element is air. In the hero’s journey this phase is where we are feeling our desires, sensing into the intentions and meet a mentor in human, plant, animal or other than human form. In the menstrual cycle, this phase is transitional including bleeding and the building up of the uterine nest in the follicular/proliferation phase. Use clean, easy to digest food.
Moon in Aries:
Moon in Aries guiding us towards creative uses of aggression and competition. I know these words get the stink-eye, but they are part of healthy human experience. Moon is our inner grandmother that guides, disciplines, nurtures our emotional, sensual, dreamy reality. In Aries, we learn how to use our aggressive tendencies through physical activity. If we don’t, we feel anxiety, pent up aggression. Then we do dumb stuff, like shoot up the place.

Astrology info to consider:
Mars is our drive to go out there in a game between shirts and skins, get sweaty, feel alive. Desire, competition, asserting ourselves. We’ve mostly been shamed out of owning our Mars energy. When we don’t use it, that Mars energy is pent up causing anxiety and outbursts of rage at the wrong time, like while driving.Mars is currently on the lunar nodal axis getting a total reboot and upgrade. What is the future of Mars in humanity? We are informing cosmic mystery as much as cosmic mystery is informing us.
Menstruation cycle and Moon:
What phase of your inner Moon cycle are you in? What hormones are most prominent? How does this relate with outer Moon’s new/bleeding phase? Remember, your cycle and Moon cycle do not need to match. Read more about the correspondences here.
Dreams:
I treat my dreams like a beloved who I am interested in getting to know. I’m curious about them, ask them questions, treat and talk about them as sacred, not crazy or weird. I want to know what they love and make space for them to approach me.
- Ask to receive a dream.
- Have your dream journal ready.
- In the morning, instead of asking what your dream means, ask, “What does this dream want?”
- Bring the most prominent dream symbol into your day time reality by writing about it or finding an object that represents it to place on your altar.
